Tiger King was a sensation no one saw coming. The Netflix true-crime series centered on self-proclaimed gay redneck, Joe Exotic, pitched audiences into a wild world of animal lovers and scads of WTF. It also painted abusive racists as kooky characters, made a mockery of the true-crime genre, then capitalized on the public’s mounting fascination with a slapped-together special. It’s empowered its anti-heroes and villains, to snatch at the brass ring of fame once more, leading Joe Exotic to his 2016-rival petitioning President Trump for a pardon.

There’s been a lot of Joe Exotic news, memes, and mayhem going around. Whether you couldn’t keep up or chose to opt out, you likely missed something. Screen Junkies has offered a super-sized Honest Trailer for Tiger King that tries to loop it all in. It’s nowhere as deep as Team Pajiba’s coverage (linked above), but it’s a solid visual summary of the madness, murder allegations, and mayhem this mini-series had on display.
