Y’all already know I want to hang out with Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen, and as anyone could easily have guessed, either one of the Sirs would be delightful on his own. Here’s proof: last night, Stewart’s fiancé, Sunny Ozell uploaded this hysterical video of Sir Patrick giving her a masterclass in the art of the quadruple-take (I agree with his assertion that it was actually a quintuple-take). Some are speculating our favorite thespian may have been smoking a little funny stuff, and indeed, he seems a bit goofy … either way, the video is worth several replays throughout this fine hump day.

Don’t forget Stewart is appearing with McKellen in No Man’s Land at the Berkley Repertory Theater through August 31st, then in the Waiting for Godot—No Man’s Land double bill on Broadway for 14 weeks, beginning November 24th.

Cindy Davis’, (Twitter) buns are probably not the best.

Adorable. I think drunk flirty grandpa Stewart is my new favorite Stewart.

  • cgthegeek

He's either really drunk or in love. Or both.

  • Jim

Only a thespian of his stature and training should attempt anything beyond the triple-take lest one's amateur production be spontaneously renamed "The Affair of the Neck Brace."

I saw No Man's Land this weekend. WEIRD Pinter play, kind of hard to describe and it seemed really dated. Kind of angsty in an 80's way. My wife described it as lonely and that seems fitting. The acting though, was incredible. Ian McKellan was just incredible and Billy Crudup was surprisingly good. Stewart had a tough role - parts of it he was really really good at and other parts you could see where he made some choices in how to play the role and I am not sure that they worked.

  • Bananapanda

He is a lovely man. I can attest to that as he was my (college) graduation speaker and arrived a day early to attend an art show and party. He was really enjoying himself hanging out. I ended up high-fiving him on the procession into graduation as he was standing next to my swim coach. Best 'mistake' of my life.

  • Bandit

At Huddersfield? He's the chancellor there aye? On our graduation, we just got a video of his head on a giant screen.

I wonder if Mr. Stewart is baked here, although I like to think he's just that delightful.

P.S. Digging the Stevie Wonder in the background.

  • "*shhh* now hush, you're here to learn, not to talk" he said, as he thrust gently inside me.

  • Dennis Albert Ramirez

yeah, i almost uttered a small "oh my, mr stewart" when he said that

  • Meli_V

And I thought my adoration couldn't grow any deeper.

Possibly Baked Masterclass may be the new Drunk History.

  • Sara_Tonin00

    Make it so.

    Oh, please, make it so.

  • BuffyloGal

Agreed. It sounded far too familiar.

I am cracking up! He is so adorable. It's cute how he keeps caressing her feet.

  • lowercase_ryan

  • Afferbeck

Oh my god, the triple take. I'm cackling like a madman

AH, OK. I've never watched a Tarantino film. They are too violent for my taste. I'm more a Merchant/Ivory type.

    I KNEW IT!
