We can all use a bit of good schadenfreude once in a while (or all the time), right? If you’re craving a good laugh that will also make you simultaneously feel way too sad, buckle in for the most dismally pathetic picture since Kirk Cameron’s last birthday.
This is a picture from a Women Vote Trump rally. Yes, the rally had started. And yes, it was in Cleveland. As in, where every influential woman who might Vote Trump is right now.
Turnout for Women For Trump event. The people in this picture are journalists and one media intern. #RNCinCLE pic.twitter.com/Xb1UNySw6J

By some accounts, that rally hosted all of 30 people. But about half of those were journalists and media interns covering or otherwise working the event.
Of course, it’s not like there’s proof of this bad turnout or anything.

So minus the media being paid to be there, it’s been reported that all of 17 women showed up to tell the world that just because they’re women, that doesn’t mean they have to vote for Clinton. (Not that most Democrats— yes, even female democrats— actually think you have to vote for Hillary because you’re a woman. We just don’t get why a woman would vote for Trump.)
Q&A now happening, but crowd so small the panel are asking themselves most of the questions #RNCinCLE pic.twitter.com/1Wgm30LXR4

In related news, Trump’s motorcade was involved in a not at all symbolic car crash, the condiments counter at the RNC is doing just fine, Chachi wants to “make America America again,” and everyone is super racist. You know, politics.
Super creepy header pic from a different event via.
