Are you tired of watching white billionaires send themselves into space? It’s the ultimate form of showing off. It helps no one but the person who hopped in a penis-shaped rocket with a cowboy hat screaming, “mid-life crisis, wahoo!” Could there be jealousy on the part of everyone watching them? Absolutely! All that’s needed to fix that jealousy is a little diversity. Lamorne Morris stopped by the Jimmy Kimmel: Live YouTube channel to pitch just that.

The Game Night and New Girl star, fresh off a successful guest hosting stint, wants to see more Black people in space. We’ve had Black astronauts and even a Black celebrity who have gone to space (I’m looking at you, Strahan). But, frankly, we deserve more.

Morris had plenty of great suggestions for astronauts, but I’ve got a few of my own. Comedian George Wallace comes to mind, if not just for the tweets that would follow. Amber Ruffin would be at the top of the list, but she’s at the top of most of my lists. I’ll watch Nicole Byer do pretty much anything, so that’s a no-brainer. Top it off with Lamorne himself and you’ve got a pretty fantastic foursome. Just imagine all the zero-gravity laughs that would be had!
