After suffering an undeniably brutal snow plow accident in January 2023, Jeremy Renner enjoyed a reprieve from being known as, well, Jeremy Renner while embarking on a miraculous recovery that only millions of Marvel dollars can buy.

Where most people would've died -- My soft blogger's body would've been paralyzed just from trying to shift gears in heavy machinery. -- Renner not only Wolverine'd that sh*t but he got right back on the plowing horse. Namely, in the form of 26-year-old Instagram influencer CC Mason. Tank-like metal treads literally rolled over his face, and Ol' Jere is out here pulling models. It's a story of hope in a hopeless time is I guess what I'm trying to say here. (I'm not really committed to this bit.) Via Page Six:

Multiple sources tell us the "Avengers: Endgame" star, 54, dated fashion influencer Cassandra "CC" Mason, who is 28 years his junior, for about eight months "off and on" throughout 2024.

We're told the pair developed a strong connection in part because both had been through serious health struggles.

Renner, for his part, had a near-death experience when a snowplow ran over him in January 2023, and Mason, 26, overcame thyroid cancer at a young age.

According to Page Six, Mason was concerned about Renner's "bad boy reputation," but she gave him a shot anyway. How'd that go for her? They're already broken up. More importantly, I distinctly remember reading about how Instagram was being populated by AI-generated influencers, and uh, how the hell is this not one of them?

There's no way this is a real person!

Did Jeremy Renner really have a relationship with an Instagram influencer, or did he just walk around humping medical equipment after the accident? I'm leaning heavily toward the latter.

"Jere, that's a dialysis machine."
"You don't know her like I do!"
