Why Streaming is Becoming Cable Again

It isn’t exactly a groundbreaking or controversial thing to say that the streaming model of watching films and TV shows (what the vandals call ‘content’—shudder) is fundamentally broken. I’m not here to rehash that point where others here have done so, a number of times, so well. Suffice it to say, it just sucks. Like so many other ‘disruptive’ modern capitalist ‘innovations’ that tech-bro-dom pushed on us, streaming looks more and more like it’s reinventing an older industry, albeit with some truly innovative new ways of…well, being sh**e.

Again, I’m not here to rehash the argument. I’m just here to add to the deserved pile-on, this time with a neat little video from YouTuber Dummy. Cheers, Dummy. Every little helps.
