Jennifer Lawrence Goes Full Jeremy Renner And Collaborates With Amazon on Wedding Registry Store

Jennifer Lawrence has been keeping a lowkey profile these days, although news recently broke that she may have already gotten married to partner Cooke Maroney. Well, that or they were just caught picking up the official papers at City Hall, but we know what story gets the clicks. Lawrence has had some pretty high profile relationships in her time, including X-Men co-star Nicholas Hoult and scarf-man auteur Darren Aronofsky. Her romance with Maroney has been far quieter by comparison, which is probably why we were all so confused to see her headlining a wedding registry gift guide for Amazon.

The store is not Lawrence’s actual gift registry, so don’t head here hoping to buy her some lovely towels. No, this is a registry of items seemingly hand-picked by Lawrence herself for anyone looking for recommendations on what to fleece family and friends out of when their big day comes. Respect, go get your cash, Jen. It just seems like such a contrast from the image we have of her as a devil-may-care one of the guys sort of broad. Lawrence says on the site that she loves ‘to host people at home’, which I buy. I bet her fondue parties rock. I’m not sure I see her as a woman who uses a Sous Vide on the regular, but hey, we all have our hobbies.

Lawrence’s registry includes plenty of glasses to serve booze from — smart lady — good cookware, fire pits and pizza stones for outdoor entertaining, and a robot mop I now desperately covet. Is it kind of gauche and fancy-lady? Sure, but Lawrence is also doing it in collaboration with Amazon Conservation, so at least it’s for a good cause.

Besides, I trust Jennifer Lawrence more with cookware recommendations than I do Jeremy Renner with bear mace choices.
