Jacob Elordi Under Investigation For Allegedly Assaulting A Radio Producer

Hot Guy of the Month Jacob Elordi is reportedly under investigation for the alleged assault of a radio producer in his native Australia. On Saturday, the 26-year-old former Elvis/future Frankenstein’s Monster was outside a beer garden near a hotel in Sydney when he was approached by Joshua Fox, a producer for The Kyle & Jackie O Show.

Joshua went on his radio show this morning and shared his account of the incident, as well as an audio recording of the exchange. Basically, the producer wanted to do a dumb bit inspired by that bathtub scene in Saltburn. So, he asked Jacob if he could have some of his bathwater for his colleague Jackie O’s birthday.

In the audio (around 2:29), Jacob can be heard asking Joshua to stop filming him and to delete the footage. Joshua claims he agreed to Jacob’s wishes; he stopped recording and said he wouldn’t use the audio since the joke “didn’t land.” Then, Joshua says Jacob switched from polite to aggressive and allegedly got “up in my face” and stood over him (“he’s a lot taller than me”), via Entertainment Weekly:

“I’m backed against this wall. He’s right in my face, and his two boys are now on either side of me. It’s like a switch went off, and he’s becoming quite aggressive, and I’m feeling intimidated.”

Jacob allegedly continued to order him to delete the footage. Joshua says he deleted it and apologized. But Jacob still wasn’t happy. He told Joshua to go into his Recently Deleted folder (smart) and get rid of it for good. Joshua says that’s when he realized that, if he did permanently delete the footage, there would be no evidence if “something” happened:

“I refuse to because I feel uncomfortable right now, and this is the only evidence. And then Jacob kind of just flips, and he kind of pushes me against the wall, and his hands are on my throat.”

Hoo boy. Joshua says that Jacob’s friend pulled him off. As Joshua “fast-walked” away, another one of Jacob’s “boys” followed him and told him to “make sure that video goes nowhere, make sure you tell no one about this.” Then he made Joshua shake his hand.

Joshua says that, contrary to popular belief, he didn’t leak the story to the press; the media picked it up because people witnessed and gossiped about the altercation. Joshua also claims he didn’t even go to the police, they called him because it was a high-profile story in the newspapers. A detective allegedly told Joshua that they’d already seized the CCTV footage from the hotel so that they could be ready if Joshua wanted to make a statement. Hmmm.

New South Wales Police confirmed that they are investigating the alleged assault:

“Police were told about 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, 3 February 2024, a 32-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by a 26-year-old man. The man did not sustain any injuries. Inquiries into the incident is continuing.”

Jacob has yet to publicly comment on the allegations.
