Watch Daniel Radcliffe Sort Celebrities into Harry Potter Houses Without Offending Anyone

It’s not an easy task to be asked to sorts a number of celebrities — including Meryl Streep, Benedict Cumberbatch, Emma Stone, Miley Cyrus, Ryan Gosling, and Ian McKellan — into Harry Potter houses without potentially offending any of the celebrities (by, for instance, putting them into Slytherin). Radcliffe pulled off the trick admirably without offending anyone, and in fact, placed only one celebrity into Slytherin, and as Radcliffe noted, he’d probably prefer to be placed in that house.

If anyone, it’s a delightful video and another reminder of Radcliffe’s ever-present charm. That said, he probably shouldn’t have led by saying that “awesome people go to Gryffindor,” because everyone else sorted into other houses are going to feel slightly less awesome.
