I’ve never heard of the rock band TENlo, but — based on their new music video — they sound like one of those generic late ’90s bands, like Staind. Or Creed. However, their latest video, for “Kill Them All,” manages to transcend their sound by featuring Dustin Diamond — Screech on Saved by the Bell — playing Harvey Weinstein in a revenge tale that sees a nun dress up as a hot lady, seduce the hell out of Weinstein, and then murder his ass.
I’m not sure that I’d call it satisfying — the nun is basically a “Hot for Teacher” trope — but seeing Dustin Diamond play Weinstein is certainly novel. Diamond, however, is not exactly free of sexual harassment accusations himself. Back in the aughts, he got into an altercation on the set of Celebrity Fit Club and had to be quarantined from the rest of the cast after he allegedly threatened to make a mold of his penis and rape a former “American Idol” contestant, Kimberly Locke, with it. He was also convicted of stabbing someone back in 2014.
But, you know: Screech playing Harvey Weinstein — and doing so credibly — feels like some sort of poetic justice for someone.
Unfortunately, the video doesn’t answer any of the lingering mysteries of Saved by the Bell.
