Brett Domino, a guy who’s YouTube-famous for his skills with the keytar and “stylophone,” has made a video laying out the headbashingly easy steps to creating a pop hit. These include tips like:
-Incorporate an instrument you don’t know how to play.
-Lyrics don’t matter. At all. Just Google phrases and use the top search result.
-Make it as generic as possible.
And then he uses the steps to create a catchy song that you would absolutely hear on the radio because the whole world is going to hell and kids need to get off my lawn.
