Reddit Asks the Question: 'What’s Something That Happens Often in Movies That Is One Hundred Percent Unrealistic?'

It’s funny. Back in the day we used to complain, sometimes lightheartedly, sometimes more seriously, about unrealistic tropes in cinema. It was a way to sometimes, with humor, denigrate some of the trashier (often) action films that we’d see hitting the screens. These days, with the amount of un-cinematic dross that doesn’t even follow the basic rules of film-making, the standards have fallen so low in so many places that I’d kill for some trashy tropes in an otherwise competently made movie. Reddit had this topic on its mind the other day when it asked the question: ‘What’s something that happens often in movies that is 100% unrealistic?’ You can check out the full thread here, but below are some highlights:
