Remember a few years ago when Hannibal Buress talked about Bill Cosby’s rapes during a stand-up set? And how that stand-up bit kicked the rock that would snowball into a boulder down the mountain and eventually led to the end of Bill Cosby’s career and a lengthy prison sentence (how’s the jail cell treating you, Coz?)
See, that’s the thing about stand-up bits, though? How much do you take seriously? And how much do you consider a joke? Or do you consider it all seriously, but also hedge your bets?

Is he being funny? Or telling the truth? Or both. It wouldn’t surprise any of us if it were true, and would explain all the goddamn sniffing during the debates, and also the middle-of-the-night rage tweets and the deteriorating mental condition and the mood swings and also Trump.
