House Republicans Asked Adam Schiff to Resign; He Told Them to Shove It
This morning, nine House Republicans — including the House’s greatest self-owning wanker, Devin Nunes — wrote a letter asking that the Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Adam Schiff, resign from that position, echoing a similar call from the President on Twitter, because that’s what Trump does when it comes to his political enemies.
Congressman Adam Schiff, who spent two years knowingly and unlawfully lying and leaking, should be forced to resign from Congress!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 28, 2019
Here’s the letter, which states, in part: “The findings of the Special Counsel conclusively refute your past and present assertions and have exposed you as having abused your position to knowingly promote false information, having damaged the integrity of this Committee, and undermined faith in U.S. government institutions.”

Adam Schiff did not resign. In fact, the Chairman — one of four Democrats who apparently cannot be refused access to classified information — basically told his Republican colleagues to go screw.
Adam Schiff goes off, lists the Trump Tower meeting, sharing of polling data, call to hack Clinton, Kushner back channel, and more: "You might say that's all OK … I think it's unpatriotic. And yes, I think it's corrupt and evidence of collusion." pic.twitter.com/ak4XxM6cvF— Kyle Griffin (@kylegriffin1) March 28, 2019
Did you hear any lies? Because I didn’t hear any lies. In other words, by calling upon Adam Schiff to resign, the Republicans received a much-needed reminder of the litany of contacts between Donald Trump, his campaign, and the Russians. The evidence may not have risen to the level of “criminal conspiracy,” but it sure as hell was shady AF.
Yo, Adam Schiff was rippin assholes open this morning in Congress. Fuck Jimmy Stewart, THAT is the embodiment of an American Hero. Mr. Schiff Goes to Washington, shining a light on the shenanigans, magnifying the malignancy at the core of those diseased souls across the aisle…— Cyrus McQueen (@CyrusMMcQueen) March 28, 2019
The GOP is terrified of Adam Schiff because they can’t block him from being briefed on classified information.— Angry Staffer (@AngrierWHStaff) March 28, 2019
That’s all this is. They don’t want someone as tenacious as Schiff to get that full briefing on the Mueller report.
Nancy’s got his back, too.
