Your Trump-Loving Aunt's Favorite Comedian Unloads on Donald Trump

Comedian Jim Gaffigan is not exactly known for his scorching hot political takes or his radical socialist beliefs. He’s from Indiana. He is a practicing Catholic. He has too many kids to count. He jokes about parenting, and being lazy, and hot pockets. He’s got a niche, and for the most part, that niche is to stay out of politics because he has a lot of fans who fall to the right of the center line.

All of which is to say: When Jim Gaffigan unloaded on Donald Trump and his supporters on Twitter last night, it was at the very least notable. It was also very satisfying.

Look Trumpers I get it. As a kid I was a cubs fan and I know you stick by your team no matter what but he's a traitor and a con man who doesn't care about you. Deep down you know it. I'm sure you enjoy pissing people off but you know Trump is a liar and a criminal.
