Fun fact (that I’m sure you already know): due to television’s insistence on continuing to make new content available before we’ve even finished the last thing we were watching, often our unrecorded, pre-show chats deal with what shows we need to drop due to us running out of time, either to watch or to record.

It’s why we might not be talking about Picard this week! Or Winning Time. We’ll get to those at some point! But not today.

Instead, we’ve got a discussion of the new HBOMax comedy Our Flag Means Death, which almost all three of us watched (in that I only watched the first episode due to a particularly powerful nap that invaded my schedule), Dustin explains the new Netflix show Pieces Of Her to us, we check back in with Severance, and we *sigh* sadly have to admit that Dustin was right as we say goodbye to The Afterparty.

After all of that (hence why we didn’t tackle more shows this week), we get into the second round of the Fiscal First Quarter Categorization Challenge! The updated bracket is below but the highlights:

- In the most painful matchup of the night, DuckTales bested Pushing Daisies and moves on to face the surprisingly strong Pitch.

- Justified continues to feel like the show to beat, as they easily steamrolled Gravity Falls. They face Enlisted next week.

- Clone High continues a strong showing across all quadrants as a beloved one-season show (Dan), animated (Tori), and from Bill Lawrence (Dustin), ousting The Mighty Boosh. But next week it’ll have to face Dustin fave Felicity.

- The Emily In Paris dream run is over, as it was defeated by The Class, which will face Attack On Titan next week.

We’re down to eight shows in our bracket. Unless weird wildcards show up, because Tori claims she has no idea how brackets work and it’s entirely possible! We’ll have to see where things go from here.

Podjiba! Where we’re somehow still going to end up watching Felicity, aren’t we? (After all, #Dustincheats) And when we do, you can listen to it wherever podcasts are found, including here!
