I know this is an exercise in futility, but let me be clear so things don't get twisted: I liked She-Hulk. It was fun, it tried something different, and most importantly, it made smashing Matt Murdock an MCU badge of honor. -- It's canon, and I won't hear a word otherwise! -- That said, I just assumed that She-Hulk underperformed because we're almost four years out, and there hasn't been a single peep about Season 2. In fact, no one even knows if Tatiana Maslany is still under contract, and she rightfully has fun toying with nerds about it. So, imagine my surprise when Marvel producer Brad Winderbaum revealed that, actually, She-Hulk was one of Marvel's "best-performing shows." But that would mean angry weirdos screaming on YouTube were... lying? That can't be right. (IGN)

Controversial Chloe Fineman take: A kid pantsing a younger kid who kept lifting up her shirt is not a scandal. She got fired from her camp counselor gig, which was the correct punishment. This was nothing more than a stupid kid being a stupid kid because their brains are stupid. If you want to get worked up about something, there's a fresh new Duggar crime right over there. NTE gobbled up The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion (Volumes 1-5) by Beth Brower. “These books can be the sweet, fluffy, nonsense my heart desires & my brain requires in this world literally being held hostage at the whims of a madman... and also they can be the most moving and heart-wrenching things I’ve read so far this year.” What’s getting you through these current days?
