You’re not likely to recognize anyone in the trailer for Paranoid aside from Game of Thrones’ Indira Varma, but lovers of conspiracy thrillers will almost certainly feel drawn to the 8-part ITV series, which will debut here in the United States on Netflix this fall.
It’s about the investigation into the murder of a female doctor in a rural children’s playground in broad daylight, but of course, it’s about much more than that. The trailer even suggests a love story at the center of it that may offer some respite from the typical grimness associated with police dramas in Britain.
Mostly, though, it involves a bunch of crazy.
