'The Muppets' Are Positively Killing It In The Promo Department

The upcoming Muppets TV show already has us clamoring for its arrival after the release of the spectacular 10 minute pitch video that got the series greenlit. And now, with a new slew of promo posters, The Muppets proves that it knows what we want and it’s happy to give it to us. The show, as we’ve already learned, will be an ultra-meta mocumentary-style look at the process of getting a Muppets TV show on the air.

The Muppet Show was famous for stiking the perfect balance between kid-friendly humor and overt winks to the adults watching. The Muppets are never crude, but they nudge that line (as you would expect from a show whose most famous song was surreptitiously lifted from a Swedish porn documentary). And that wink-wink, nudge-nudge style is clearly going to be present, in full force.
