Last Episode of 'The Jinx' Spoiled by Reality

Last week on The Jinx, HBO’s documentary series examining Robert Durst and the crimes he allegedly and also definitely committed, new evidence was revealed in the murder of Susan Berman. Tonight the last episode of The Jinx will air, and most of us were pretty sure there’d be another bombshell revelation to come.

But we might not have to wait for the episode, because the news this morning was that Robert Durst was arrested in New Oreleans on an extradition warrant to Los Angeles. Old Blinky is going to be going back to jail, at least for the time being, and this makes me even more certain that tonight’s episode contains more evidence in at least the Susan Berman case. As much as I’d love for them to conclusively pin the murder of his wife on him, there’s so little to work with there it would have been nearly impossible to do so without a confession.

So, no matter how tonight’s episode goes, we’re going to get some kind of closure on the case with or without HBO.
