Batman v Superman: Courtroom Brawl has been filming this week at the Broad Art Museum in East Lansing, Michigan, and the local media (along with some Affleck-obsessed Michigan State students) have decided to rededicate their lives to location-stalking. Besides the students on constant self-dubbed “Affleck watch,” a bunch of students are also working as extras on the film. For a movie like this, the secrecy is intense, and everyone has to sign a billion nondisclosure agreements, at penalty of losing testicles and first born children and probably excommunication and deportation. Well, not really, but the actual penalty is somewhere around (or up to) $5,000,000. So, given the choice, fleeing the country kind of sounds preferable.
One graduate student did decide to risk a multi-million dollar lawsuit and spill some spoilers to a local news station. Whether he got paid, wanted the attention, or just felt like being a dick and ruining things for people is unknown. Also unknown is his identity, but you can be sure BvS has a swarm of lawyers working to figure that out. There’s a video below of the full coverage, including an anonymous interview with a really creepy voice modulator.
But if you can’t be bothered to wait until the movie comes out to know a few details, and also can’t find the time to watch a four minute video, here’s a recap of what $5 million spoilers look like. Most are boring. One is cool, but only confirms what everyone already suspected.
Warning: Five Million Dollar Spoilers ahead.
-Lex Luther and Bruce Wayne fight. At a big fancy Metropolis party.
-The fight scene involves “heavy special effects.” (Duh.)
-There’s military presence in/around that fight.
-JENA MALONE IS PLAYING ROBIN. Did we already know this? I honestly can’t remember if it had been announced or if it was just speculation at this point. But who cares because Jena Malone is THE SHIT and this is awesome.
