Twitter Reacts To Jonah Hill Passing On 'The Batman' By Dream-Casting His Replacement

In the wake of Zoe Kravitz being announced as The Batman's Catwoman, news has broken that Jonah Hill is out as her could-be co-star. He was in talks to play either the Riddler or the Penguin in the Matt Reeves-helmed pic. But Variety reports negotiations broke down. It's speculated that the studio and the director of Mid90s couldn't come to terms on his fee for the film. Reportedly, Hill wanted $10 million to play the undisclosed Batman baddie, which is bold considering the film's leading man Robert Pattinson is making $5 mil.

Some on Twitter mocked Hill for this decision.

Others moved on to wondering who might be best suited to play the Riddler and the Penguin. A popular pick for the former is Saturday Night Live alum turned It: Chapter 2 star Bill Hader.

Others argued the perfect pick is Hader's writing partner for the iconic Stefon bits, hot comic John Mulaney.
