The Rock Uncharacteristically Calls Out 'Fast 8' Cast Members

We have a long history of affection for Dwayne Johnson around these parts, even when he was making terrible movies. Best we can tell, The Rock is the best dude in the history of ever, and when we hear from Johnson it’s because he’s doing something to break our hearts.

That’s why it’s so unusual to see that The Rock is calling out his male cast members on Fast 8. That is to say, if you’re getting under The Rock’s skin, you’ve really screwed up.

That seems to be the case for a few of his “candy ass,” “chicken shit” male co-stars on the Fast and Furious 8.

This is my final week of shooting #FastAndFurious8. There's no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one. An incredible hard working crew. UNIVERSAL has been great partners as well. My female co-stars are always amazing and I love 'em. My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't. The ones that don't are too chicken shit to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I'm not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling - you're right. Bottom line is it'll play great for the movie and fits this Hobbs character that's embedded in my DNA extremely well. The producer in me is happy about this part😉. Who is he talking about? It could be Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Kurt Russell, Lucas Black, Tyrese Gibson, or Scott Eastwood. In a recent interview with Esquire, Eastwood seems to confirm the on-set attitude of his cast mates: “I’m on this Fast and the Furious movie right now, and everyone goes back to their trailer. I stick around and say, “Why you are setting up the shot like this?” I want to learn.

We know, however, that it’s definitely not Helen Mirren Charlize Theron, Michelle Rodriguez, Elsa Pataky, or Eva Mendes. Also, holy shit, that female cast is incredible. If I’m a Fast and Furious producer, I keep The Rock and the women and reboot the rest.
