Dwayne Johnson Is The Best Dude In The History Of Ever, So Bask In It

It’s been 11 years since The Rock left wrestling to become Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and then, eventually, just Dwayne Johnson: Movie Star. Johnson is self-proclaimed franchise Viagra and also holds the title of Most Successful Post-WWE Transition To Bonafide Movie Star (source: I made it up).

He is also the nicest dude in the business. Whether he is making fun of himself on Saturday Night Live or posting stories of his selfless acts on Twitter or Instagram, Dwayne Johnson is working hard and maintaining a positive outlook and presence. Let’s look at some of the ways he is the Absolute Best Dude In The History Of Ever, shall we?

He’s Wonderful To His Fans

The big moment where we surprised lil' 7yr old cancer warrior named "Tater" with his own #BAYWATCH movie poster! I wish you guys could've seen his face when I turned this frame around. When I told him "we're all so inspired by you, especially me" and looked down at him and saw him lookin' up at me, nodding his head with those big eyes.. good Lord I almost lost it in front of him and the whole damn crew. (that actually happened to me once before when I was accepting an award on stage and as I thanked my family, I just happened to catch my daughter Simone's eyes and sweet cheese on an ice cream sammich I almost lost it again). I did exactly what I did here.. paused, gazed into space like a crazy man and told myself "you better hold it together dammit", shook it off and proceeded to continue. Despite my almost tearing up like a baby and ruining my tough guy image, the greatest and I think most beautiful irony about Tater, is that this very special little boy has no idea just how much he inspires all of us around him. One day he will. #OnSet #OurWholeBaywatchCrew #UnforgettableMoment #LiveLikeTater #AndRocksDontCry * special thank you our good buddy and one of Hollywood's greatest photographers @jaimietrueblood and the @forthewinproject charity creating this awesome poster for Tater.

How Much He Loves And Dotes On His Mother

Asked my mom to text me one of her fav pics of us and I get this. Thanks mom I was hoping for a pic where I'm less dork and not needing a puberty bra. Ah what the hell, it's funny. Happy Mother's Day Mom! I'm a lucky son to have a mom like you. And I'm a grateful son as well to watch you inspire all of those around you with your love, kindness and strength. Thank you.. for everything. To all the moms out there - who have grown up kids who are out of the house to teens drivin' you crazy to babies on the hips.. enjoy your day today. We honor you. We thank you. We love you. I was raised by and still to this day, I'm surrounded by (literally surrounded;) strong, beautiful women. My respect and love is boundless. Happy Mother's Day. ~ DJ aka Kid Puberty Bra

His Adorable Daughter And How He Adores Her

After we feed her, Jasmine just loves looking at daddy's tattoos. I think it helps her digest😂. Can't wait to one day explain to her what all this means. Chat about her cultures (Samoan, Armenian, African American and Italian). And while these symbols may appear to be primitive, unsophisticated and crude - they're extremely sacred, thousands of years old and very powerful. My mana (strength). Ironically enough the symbol she's fixated on is our ATUA (our God) protected by the small building blocks of my life and then by shark teeth. Yuuuuup, we gonna have some good daddy/daughter chats. Until then she'll continue to use daddy's tattoos as a place to scratch, drool and spit up. #Tatua #PolyCulture #FaaSamoa #Respect #SpitUpOnDaddy #Yay

Thank you universe. I was on set this morning ready to start our shooting day when I got word that there was a family with a special needs young man named RYAN who was hoping to meet me. They understood that they travelled in unannounced but they were willing to wait all day until I wrapped to meet. That would've 12hrs. Way too long. So I asked production to hold and walked across the beach to the barriers where they were waiting. When I walked down the stairs, Ryan's mom (pictured here) was waiting with a huge hug! Her tears started to come as she whispered, "Thank you, thank you". I met Ryan, his brother and his nurse. What a great and cool kid. Without getting into the details, this kid has waaaaaay more heart, is stronger and tougher than I could ever imagine. He can't talk much, but he did tell me, "I love you" in sign language. I thanked him so much for that love. I walked away from this family so grateful to have met them and Ryan. I don't ever take meetings like this for granted and when that mama hugged me today and I felt her start to cry… that stuff gets me every single time I hug a parent in these situations, because I'm a parent too and will do anything to make my babies happy and put a smile on their faces. I know I'm a lucky guy to be in this position and have this platform. I'm grateful and moments like this will always, ALWAYS be the best part of my job. Stay strong Ryan and thanks for teaching me how to sign language buddy. Great meeting you and your family. Thank you universe.

#TBT Surprising my mom with a new car for Christmas. Couldn't remember what her favorite color was between white or red, so I went with white. A few weeks later she was curious as to why I chose white and not her favorite color, red? I told her I couldn't remember her favorite color so I went with white, but I would return the car and get her a new red one?! She looked at me like I had three heads and said "Are you crazy? Nooooo way, I love my white car! I'm so grateful. I was just curious." I even contemplated secretly taking her car from her garage and having it replaced with a new red one, but thought I better not and just leave well enough alone. Then as fate would have it, she was hit head on by a drunk driver - she survived. Her white car was completely totaled and she wound up getting a replacement car of the color she always wanted… Red. Funny (and gratefully) how things work out the way they're meant to. And still to this day she says that white car saved my life. #GoodOlFashionFate #IsAlwaysColorBlind

Shooting on location always draws a crowd and I got word that a mom asked if I would meet her daughter who's celebrating a very special birthday. Well I love me some birthdays so where is mama and her babies. Was so happy to have met lil' Sally Walker Collins, who just turned 1. When she was 5months old she had open heart surgery and has been an inspiring lil' fighter since that day. Her mama, Sarah here was so grateful we had a chance to meet and got teary eyed when talking about her baby and said something so simple, powerful and true.. "If Sally can fight thru this, then we can do anything." Amen. Yes you can. Real pleasure meeting this great family and if by remote chance I got teary eyed too when she was talking about her daughter's struggle - it's a good thing I had my shades on so no one would see. But of course I never cry 'cause I'm too tough for that stuff. I'm just sayin' if I did, I was prepared. Stay strong lil' Sally - you're a heart warrior and you have many many more birthdays to enjoy. And remember Uncle DJ is the coolest. 😂💙 #OnSet #BAYWATCH #SavannahGA

I could go one for days, but just follow the man himself on his Instagram. The world could use a lot more Dwayne Johnsons.
