Stanley Tucci Is At It Again!

Stanley Tucci is taking this time to find new ways to make us thirst for him. He already had us with his debonair air, his flirtatious display of forearms, good looks, and general vibe that he’d be a good time. His passion for food just made him tastier. Then, he started making cocktail tutorials for he has no mercy or perhaps no understanding of the depths of our thirst.

The first tantalized with a Negroni paired with a perfectly snug polo shirt. The second has this Hunger Games star feeding our need to see him be sophisticated yet casual as he makes a martini.

Once more, the vid was shot by Tucci’s wife, Felicity Blunt, who doubles as his gleeful, giggling audience. Then, he shows us how to get the “suggestion of Vermouth.” Next comes the gin and a bit of product placement. Employing Ryan Reynolds’ Aviation Gin (which our own Jodi wears by), Tucci drew the attention of the Deadpool star, who replied on the Instagram post.

But that’s not all! Tucci also shares the history of the Gin Martini with a possibly apocryphal story and an intriguing alternate to vermouth: scotch. At this point, you’re probably wondering how a TV network hasn’t beat down Tucci’s door about making a cocktail show from his home. I mean, with Celebrity Watch Party and Amy Schumer Learns to Cook coming out of all this, why not give us something that would actually be good? What proof of concept do they need beyond the charms of Tucci using his own hand as a strainer while quipping, “Alcohol kills everything…and everyone.”

Sure, you’ve had a Whiskey Sour. But the Scotch Sour is an old Tucci family recipe, as the enchanting actor cheekily explains his father preferred this variant, drinking it “from sunrise to sunset.” Yes please.

There’s a bit of back and forth between this charming couple, Tucci and Blunt, and to any network execs out there—yes this titillating teasing is essential for the must-have TV spinoff.

Putting all the ingredients together, Tucci gives us a flex to swoon for when he busts out the cocktail shaker. “You’re dripping!” Blunt exclaims as the shaker spills a bit. Just like that, we are all that shaker.
