The Quiet Place opens on Friday, and I cannot recommend it to you enough. It is, no kidding, one of the best horror movies I’ve seen in a very long time (make it a double feature and also go see Blockers, one of the best studio comedies in a long while).
The release of The Quiet Place also means we get to see a lot of Krasinski and Emily Blunt on the late-night talk show rounds. First up is Krasinski, who was on Fallon last night. Ignore Fallon, but hear the great Krasinski story (and yes, we know, marco d minpin, that it’s all pre-scripted). It’s about the London Customs agent who refused to believe that John Krasinski was actually married to Emily Blunt.
Blunt, meanwhile, appeared on the better late-night talk show, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and you’re going to want to watch this one, too, because Blunt does a terrific impression of her and Krasinski’s daughter watching her in a trailer for The Quiet Place for the first time during a Super Bowl party.
Stick around for stories about how Stanley Tucci met (and later married) Emily Blunt’s sister, and the “sad, lame story” about how Krasinski and Emily Blunt met (via Justin Theroux, kind of).
