Did Miley Cyrus Know Dominic Purcell Dated Sister Noah Before Marrying Mom Tish?

So. In case you were on vacation/in a coma last week, everybody who’s anybody is talking about the rumor that Dominic Purcell allegedly dated Miley Cyrus’ little sister Noah before marrying her mother, Tish. Ay ay ay!

The news first broke over at Us Weekly last Tuesday. Sources claimed Tish, 56, “stole” Dominic, 54, from Noah, 24, and that was the reason Noah and her brother didn’t go to the Purcell-Cyrus wedding last August (and the reason Miley allegedly hired armed security to keep Noah from crashing).

On Wednesday, a pro-Tish insider told the Daily Mail that the allegations were false: Noah is a liar who loooves playing victim for the attention. Way harsh, Daily Mail. Their source also claimed the family rift actually has to do with the fact that Tish favors cash cow Miley over Noah. Um, either way, Tish ain’t winning Mother of the Year.

On Thursday, US Weekly’s insider doubled down: Noah’s no liar! She and Dominic were involved for “about 8 to 9 months” before he got with Tish, and now Tish is interviewing crisis management to save her reputation. HA!

On Friday, PEOPLE published a similar report to Us Weekly’s:

“Noah and Dominic were seeing each other in a friends with benefits way, off and on. They stopped seeing each other and then Tish started something up,” the source says, adding that “Tish knew he had been seeing Noah.”

Though Noah and Purcell had stopped seeing each other when his relationship with Tish started, the source claims “Tish never gave Noah the chance to talk about all of this before they got married.”

This tells me everything I need to know: Dominic and Noah were indeed a thing. PEOPLE has a very close relationship with A-listers and their PR teams. Their report totally legitimatizes Noah’s (err, her “source’s”) claims. Especially when the only pro-Tish take has come from the Daily Mail (blegh).

Yesterday, PEOPLE published another story about the Cyrus Family Feud®. This one directly involved Miley. According to a source, Miley is, like, totally innocent:

“Miley had no idea about the drama with Dominic. No idea at all.”

“She confronted her mom about it. She thinks it’s a strange situation, but she loves her mom and wants her to be happy.”

Whew! Obviously, this is Hollywood, so none of the Cyruses (or the lone Purcell) have actually gone on the record with an official claim or denial. It’s all smoke, mirrors, and mystery sources.
