I’m not saying Japan creates strange things in a bad way

but uh Japan, you do make some strange things! That said, we have our own issues so no worries, mkay?

How about a deal? We’ll keep on with the one-bite-and-you-die fast foods, and you keep stop making supercreepy things that unnaturally touch our faces and bodies? Like this “innovative, amusing and helpful gadget,” a human-like hand and arm you can attach to something at your desk to allow your head (or face?) to rest while you troll away work. Behold!

Why bother crawling Georgelike under your desk, when apparently (at least in Japan) you can just grab a catnap with your favorite ergonomic arm?

Look, it’s soft and squishy!

Just…might I recommend checking with your friend’s or sister’s actual workplace before purchasing this great holiday gift idea? You can check out the “Agonose arm” Kickstarter, or perhaps you’re in the market for a portable USB neck cooler, or a LAZY DESK; why bother going to work at all?

If you do take a little rest at work, when you get up please take a moment to clean up after that bug you stomped,

exercise your mouth (???),

and after a nice fava bean and Chianti desk lunch, do take the time to freshen your lipstick.
