Seth Williams has been District Attorney since 2010, when he became the first African American to hold that post in Philadelphia, winning 75 percent of the vote. He grew up the adopted son of a school teacher and secretary, attended a Freinds’ School, went to Penn State, and got his law degree from Georgetown. Williams has three daughters, wears bow ties, and loves the Eagles.
He seems like a great guy, and after you read his since-deleted tweets (screencapped by the Philadelphia Pigeon) live-tweeting Alladin while sipping wine, the great state of Pennsylvania might want to consider electing him as Governor.
He’s the best.
Bread is good, isn’t it? That’s a platform I can get behind.
Someone get this man a loaf of bread! He’s wine drunk and he’s hungry.
This man is a public official. He’s been serving the city of Philadelphia for 4 years, and you know DA’s aren’t paid well. WHY ISN’T SOMEONE BRINGING HIM BREAD?
Aww, he’s an affectionate drunk, too, and as far as I’m concerned, he’s got my vote for President. The only thing he did wrong here was to delete those tweets.
Great meeting this morning with @pfdcommish discussing ways @Philly_DAsOfc & PHL Fire Dept. can improve public safety pic.twitter.com/kDPXkyx5jB
