I didn’t see all of last night’s Tony Awards, but based on what I have seen — specifically, host Hugh Jackman’s bizarre hopping antics to open the show, and Jackman rapping The Music Man with LL Cool J and T.I. — this Hedwig and the Angry Inch performance from Neil Patrick Harris absolutely won the night. Not only does Harris give an insanely good, terrifically sexual performance, he even goes down into the crowd and licks Sam Jackson’s glasses, gives Sting a lap dance, cuddles up with Kevin Bacon, and makes out with another guy, who I assume was OK with that. I know I would’ve been.
