Kyle Mooney’s digital Saturday Night Live content is pretty hit or miss. When it hits (yes, Beygency, I mean you), it hits hard, and when it misses, it’s usually a mumbly mess of nonsense. This segment that Mooney was asked to create for the SNL40 red carpet pre-show, in which he asks a bunch of strangers about their thoughts on the show, is definitely more mumblymessy than most. If that’s your thing, you’ll love it. If not, you’re still probably going to take to calling Fred Armisen “Fred Armistad” because that’s hilarious. I don’t think Fred Armisen even cares enough about Fred Armisen to actually learn his name.
