We’re nearing the end of Jon Stewart’s run on The Daily Show, so what better opportunity for a look back at his time on the show? One YouTube user has put together a mesmerizing time-lapse video of hundreds of episodes spanning Stewart’s entire 16-year run. It’s amazing to watch him basically grow up right in front of us, from baby-faced wise ass to wizened wise ass father figure. Make sure not to blink if you want to catch all the little surprises, like a glimpse of beard or that time he turned into John Oliver.
