Speaking at the March of Dimes Celebration of Babies, Chris Pratt opened up about how the organization helped he and wife, Anna Faris through their son’s premature birth. Born two and a half months early, Jack Pratt weighed only 3 pounds, 12 ounces; as Chris notes, “That’s a small bass…very small for a human.” You can see how emotional the actor is as he talks about how March of Dimes’ research and resources helped save his son’s life.
I’m not the only one choking up, right?
Pratt spoke more on how much he loves being a father:
“I’ve done all kinds of cool things as an actor — I’ve jumped out of helicopters and done some daring stunts and played baseball in a professional stadium, but none of it means anything compared to being somebody’s daddy.”
[Cherishing sharing skin-to-skin moments with Jack in the NICU] “I made promises in that moment about what kind of dad I wanted to be and I just prayed that he’d live long enough that I could keep them.”
