This 'Parks & Rec' Deleted Scene Gives Us Ben and Leslie, Awesome Parents

This season of Parks and Recreation has Ben and Leslie parenting toddlers, though while we’ve heard a bit about the kids (they are “trying to destroy” their parents, and Leslie has the ability to convince them vegetables turn into cupcakes in their stomaches) we haven’t actually seen them since the end of last season. But this deleted scene from this week’s episode finally shows us Ben and Leslie at home. We get to see what they’re like as parents, which consists primarily of fruitless bribery and healthy lies.

There are also some fantastically terrible jokes from Terry/Gary/Jerry, and April’s honest reaction to the existence of a pay phone.
