This video, originally posted in November 2007, shows Nikki Giovanni, one of the world’s most well-known African American poets, absolutely laying into Bill Cosby, long before Hannibal Buress made it fashionable to lay into Bill Cosby. She rails on Cosby for his 2004 Pound Cake speech during an NAACP awards ceremony.

“He’s mad because they dropped their drawers. He’s mad cause he has to look at their cracks. It’s the only crack he’s mad at looking at because he’s looked at a whole lot of others, didn’t he? I’m not the only one with a whole bunch of illegitimate children. Lawd! He does [have a bunch of illegitimate children].”

This woman is a Godsend.
