Try Not to Pee Yourselves, But the 'Game of Thrones' Video Game Trailer Is Here and It's Amazing

It’s here! It’s here! The trailer for the Telltale Game of Thrones video game is here and man is it pretty. As someone who has not purchased a video game since college and is so far behind in Game of Thrones it’s flat-out embarrassing, I’m still excited for this game. If you haven’t heard, this six part series will take place in the world of the books and show (spanning both Westeros and Essos), but outside the stories we know, focusing on the mentioned but so far unseen House Forrester.

House Forrester is a noble house from the Wolfswood in the north of Westeros. Bannermen to House Glover, they have always offered unswerving loyalty to the ruling great house of the North - the Starks. The Forresters are seated at Ironrath, an imposing stronghold surrounded by towering ironwood trees. Built over fifteen hundred years ago by Cedric Forrester and his triplet sons, Ironrath is a testament to the strength and endurance of Ironwood. The Forrester house words are ‘Iron from Ice’, which echoes their belief that - like the ironwood itself - the adverse conditions and unforgiving landscape of the North only makes them stronger.

There’s no release date yet beyond “soon,” but when it comes it will be available on iOS, Mac, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, with more platforms to follow.
