If the Big Block of Cheese Day episode of The West Wing isn’t one of your favorite things to ever be on television, I don’t even know how to talk to you. For the unfamiliar (I don’t know how to talk to you, either), the day is inspired by Andrew Jackson’s 1937 open house which allowed regular citizens to come in and air their grievances and eat cheese. Or something. Anyway, now, for the second year in a row, BBOCD is done online, with senior White House officials answering questions. It’s like reddit “but without the weird stuff.”
To celebrate/advertise the event, the cast of West Wing made a video of cheese puns. Also, Martin Sheen yelling about hashtags.
