Stephen Colbert Adorably Gloats The Sh*t Out Of His Emmy Win

Though there were certainly a lot of Emmy wins this past weekend that didn’t sit well, I think we can all graciously give it up for Stephen Colbert finally beating Jon Stewart. (Don’t feel bad for The Daily Show, they won ten straight years in a row.) Of course, Stewart joined Colbert in this delightfully obnoxious victory lap from last night’s show. Because theirs is a generous love.

Did the Colbert Report deserve to win over The Daily Show? Well when you take into account the fact that John Oliver’s work didn’t qualify for this year’s award, I’m going to go with yes. So enjoy your gloat over a frosty bowl of Americone Dream, Colbert. You earned it.
