Maybe Our Little Girl Is Finally Growing Up: Miley Cyrus' VMA Win Accepted by Homeless Man

After last year’s VMA circus featuring Miley’s performance with Robin Thicke, you may have been wondering what on earth our little twerkerette could have done to top it at last night’s ceremony. Surprise; she went serious on us. When Miley’s Wrecking Ball won Video of the Year, the singer asked a 22 year old homeless man to accept on her behalf, and talk about America’s homeless youth:

Jesse directed viewers to Miley’s Facebook page, where Cyrus posted her own video asking for donations that will go to Hollywood homeless center, My Friend’s Place.

Maybe she’s finally growing up.
