I have to admit, I’ve never spent any time sitting around wishing Wes Anderson had directed Forrest Gump. However, I now see that that was a mistake on my part. A filmmaker named Louis Paquet has crafted an opening title sequence based on that concept, and it’s so clever and twee, positively brimming over with that Anderson quirk, that I would give a Kickstarter campaign all my money* to make this film a reality.
*That’s not very much money.
