At this point, most of us have given up on expecting the movies we see to be very original. Most things follow a formula, we know our stock characters, and 90% of what’s produced should have a “story by” credit for Joseph Campbell. But the brilliant YouTube channel Couch Tomato has taken that idea a hundred steps further by pointing out that Terminator and Halloween aren’t just similar stories, they’re basically the exact same movie. Illusions shattered, mind blown.
