Here's the Original Short 'Whiplash' With J.K. Simmons Still Being Feature-Level Terrifying

Before Whiplash blew everyone’s minds last year, it was a short film by the same name. Well, technically, it was a feature script, then it was a short film, adapted to raise financing for the feature; then the feature was produced and blew everyone’s minds. Now that short has been released and it’s absolutely fantastic. It’s basically a word-for-word section of the final film, but with Scott Pilgrim’s Young Neil standing in for Miles Teller, which is weirdly fascinating to watch.
