Holy crap, this is amazing. The E.T. Blu Ray release is set for this month, and the audition tape for Henry Thomas will be included as an extra. He must have been nine or ten years old, at the oldest, when he audition, but he displays a hell of a lot of talent. I can’t imagine, after seeing this reel, that there was ever any question about who should play Eliot. The kid just plain rocks it.
