When the Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer came out a week ahead of schedule, one thing was made immediately clear: James Spader’s Ultron voice is the perfect blend of sexy and creepy to make us all very uncomfortable with our dirty lustful feelings. Even more disturbing was the creepy-sexy homage to the already terrifying children’s movie Pinocchio. Ultron’s declaration of “There are no strings on me” (set to the most fear-inducing sound on Earth: a lone child singing) begged for a Pinocchio mashup, and the internet delivered. I think it took all of an hour for the folks at Nerd Reactor to put out this wonderfully disturbing video.
