After This Interview, Maybe Anthony Mackie Should Take Over Letterman's 'Late Show'

The interview below, full disclosure, is from last Friday, but we missed it (thanks The Mary Sue for highlight it), but it is timeless in its Anthony Mackie-ness. This guy is f**king hysterical, and although he’s been around forever, Captain America: Winter Soldier may finally make his the well-deserved star he needs to be, if only because it means more promotion, which means more talk-show appearances like this one on The Tonight Show.

In it, he brags about being the first black superhero; he insists that the real reason that Black Widow was trying to set up Captain America up with another woman in Winter Soldier so that she’d have a clear path to Falcon, and he also razzes Bill O’Reilly a bit (who is sitting next to him). My favorite part, however, is the commentary he provides for his own clip. If your short on time, AT LEAST watch that, at 3:38.

And if not The Late Show, Mackie definitely needs to be brought into MSTK 3000.
