Adam Scott Would REALLY Prefer It If You'd Stop Confusing Him for Adam Scott

Adam Scott, he of “Parks and Recreation” fame is well known in certain circles, and not in others, so on Sunday, when I noticed that Adam Scott’s name was trending on Twitter, I, too, was confused. Had “Parks and Rec” been cancelled? Had a Kickstarter for a Party Down movie been launched.

No. Turns out, there’s a golfer who is also named Adam Scott. He won the Masters. That confusion led to a lot of ribbing of the “Parks and Rec” star on Twitter. At a certain point, Adam Scott got fed up with it, and tweeted:

Last night, Adam Scott appeared on Conan to further air his grievances, and offer a plea to everyone to “shut the hell up.”
