Brace yourself, trivia fans, because your window to watch Netflix’s Jeopardy! slate is closing fast. At present, the streaming service boasts five collections of tournaments featuring game show host Alex Trebek. This includes: The Buzzy Cohen Collection, College Championship II, Teachers’ Tournament II, Teen Tournament III, and Tournament of Champions III. All of the above will vanish from Netflix on February 27th.
But it’s not all bad news. For one, you still have a month to enjoy all the obscure facts, Daily Doubles, and Final Jeopardy that these eps have to offer. And more importantly, Netflix is cycling these out for three new collections. Jeopardy!’s Celebrate Alex Collection, Cindy Stowell Collection, and Seth Wilson Collection will all debut on the streaming platform on January 28th.
What are these curious collections? Well, let’s assume the first is sort of a Greatest Moments of Alex Trebek. As for the others, they’ll follow the winning streaks of standout Jeopardy! contestants.
For long-time watcher Cindy Stowell, competing on the quiz show was a life-long dream. She inspired the nation when she achieved it while battling Stage 4 colon cancer, and donated a portion of her winnings to cancer research. Sadly, Stowell did not live to see her eps air. But her legacy lives on.
Here she is in her own words:
