There was a run of grifter shows a few years back that included The Dropout about Elizabeth Holmes, Inventing Anna (Anna Delvey), Super Pumped (about the Uber guy), and WeCrashed about the WeWorks guy, among others. We seem to be going through another one of those phases with Artificial (about Sam Altman), Aaron Sorkin’s The Social Reckoning (about Mark Zuckerberg, again), Nathan Fielder’s You Can See Everything (Elizabeth Holmes, again), and Netflix’s forthcoming The Altruists, which brings back Julia Garner, who played Anna Delvey, to play Sam Bankman Fried’s girlfriend in the series about the crypto scammer and the FTX scandal.
Here’s the trailer.
The Altruists begins streaming on November 19th.
