In the video package from The Daily Show that basically endorsed the campaign of Joe Biden, narrator Steve Buscemi is painfully, hilariously honest: Joe Biden is “acceptable under the circumstances.” By that, he means: Biden can read; he is not insane; he likes ice cream and trains, and if Kamala can get over her issues with him, so can we!
Most importantly: He’s not Donald Trump. It’s as low a bar as any presidential candidate has ever had to overcome, but it’s enough.
