Jordan Klepper Looks For Prospective Jurors At Trump's Trial

Donald Trump’s hush money trail has been underway for what feels like seven years. The former President and current con man is on trial for hush money payments he allegedly paid to Stormy Daniels while he ran for president to keep secret an affair the two had. He’s already called for violence, attacked the judge, fell asleep, and lied about being forced to miss his son’s high school graduation. It’s a lie because it has yet to be decided if he’ll have to miss it and because he likely wasn’t going to go anyway.

The trial kicked off on Monday by starting the jury selection process. Trump’s supporters gathered outside to wear American flag-laden outfits, decry what they consider an unfair trial, and scream at a dog puppet. They are people who think Trump has done nothing wrong. Ever. Some claim that he didn’t even sleep with Daniels in the first place. Naturally, many assume they would be perfect jurors, something Jordan Klepper decided to test.

Klepper has seen his fair share of Trump supporters over the years. He has been to rally after rally, attempting to reason with people who kicked reality to the curb many moons ago. The man was there on January 6th. He’s gone toe to toe with a rogue pillow salesman. Of course, he would turn up at Trump’s trial, attempting to see how Trump’s supporters would respond. The answer will not surprise you.

This one feels less maddening than usual. Yes, people are claiming absurd things. Someone says that Trump would only get a fair trial in Florida and then quickly clarifies that they wouldn’t accept the results of the trial he’s currently facing in Florida. One person claims they could be an impartial juror, and then they say that the trial Trump is facing isn’t an actual trial. Still, there’s an air of desperation to all of their claims.

No one seems more desperate than Andrew Giuliani (who was voted one of the worst Andrews at the last meeting of the Council of Andrews of which I and all Andrews are a member). Giuliani attempts to go tit for tat with Klepper and fails. He claims this will be a peaceful protest and attempts to ignore his father’s calls for violence on January 6th. It is sweaty and desperate and not becoming of an Andrew.

Trump’s trial is just getting started. These people will become more impatient and more emboldened as time goes on. The question is, how will they handle it if their favorite fuhrer fails? We will have to wait and see.

Just kidding, they are going to go apes***, just like their spray-tanned daddy wants.
